R E F U N D + R E T U R N P O L I C Y
The Bread and Butter Letter loves making you happy. But if for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, please email us within 7 days of receiving your product with photos of your concerns; Provided that the products are in original condition, unused, unwashed and are accompanied with their original packaging as it was, we will either exchange it, replace it, provide a store credit or refund the purchase price at our discretion. If the fault is from the maker, we sometimes will get them to liase with you personally.
Do not send faulty items back to us incase we have arranged that in our email conversation. If we have asked you to return it to us, products must be couriered (or tracked) to the following address at your own cost, and then those shipping costs will be credited back to you after arrival.

Sale items are not eligible for a refund however you can choose to exchange these for something else or receive a credit voucher to use at a later date. Please email us notifying us that you wish to return an item and the reason for returning it.
Our vintage clothing is not sold as new and therefore do not have the same warranty attached to them as other goods. Please ask before buying if you are unsure of any aspect of the product.
All purchases are subject to the Fair Trading Act 1986 and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

We want to make your shopping experience as safe and satisfying as possible. While we may securely store your customer details, we do not sell, trade or share this information with anyone. When you place an order we use secure payment facilities to process all online credit card transactions, and never keep these details.

The Bread and Butter Letter is a trading name of "Minty & Co. Limited" and herein may be referred to as "B.A.B.L", "We" or "Us". As used herein, "Customer" and "You" shall mean the person or organisation who takes possession of the products and any other person or organisation to whom charges are to be billed, all of whom will be jointly and severally liable hereunder.

The placement of an order implies full acceptance of the Terms & Conditions as stated hereon and implied.
2. PRICE, CURRENCY + GST
All prices on this website are stated in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of the 15% Goods & Services Tax (GST). Orders will be processed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) only, we do not accept payments in other currencies. B.A.B.L reserves the right to change prices of goods advertised on this website, without notice. Orders will not be despatched until payment is received in full.

Layby on in store, New Zealand orders only. Layby deposit is 30% on in stock items & 50% on pre orders (or by arrangement). Layby must be paid in full within 4 weeks or by arrangement, and after this time it goes back for general sale in store. No layby on sale items or promotional deals.
5. CUSTOM ORDERS
We do offer custom orders of some of the brands we stock by arrangement. All custom orders are final sales.

All promotions & discount codes are issued at the discretion of The Bread and Butter Letter. We reserve the right to cancel any order which has unauthorised use of a discount code. Promotional offer & discount codes can only be used once per customer per promotion, unless specified. Promotional offer & discount codes will not be extended beyond the specified end date. No lay-by unless specified.

We accept payment via DPS secure card payment, PayPal and bank deposit. If payment is made via bank deposit or DPS the name that will appear on your statement will be BreadandButterLetter.
