Shipping

All online orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, with two courier times through the day, 10:30am and 2pm.
 
Orders will not be dispatched on Public Holidays, orders placed on these
days will be send out within the next two business days.

The festive season may also cause a little delay so please be aware that
between the 20th of December + around the 6th of January is a very busy period
for both us + the couriers we use so to ensure delivery before Christmas, 
please order with a few days to spare.
 
N Z   S H I P P I N G
Our products are sent directly to you from our store. We use Fastway Couriers for all orders throughout New Zealand and Australia which is a track and traced service - yahoo!
Shipping is charged on an order weight/size basis and the location in which it is sent to.  You can calculate the shipping cost when you add your order to the cart and at the checkout.

We are pretty speedy and dispatch all
orders (with the exception of custom orders) within 1 business day. Courier delivery is 1-2 business days locally, and 3-5 business days throughout the rest of the country. 
We cannot send to a P.O Box, unfortunately.

Should no one be present at the premises to sign for the parcel, a card will be left and your parcel will be available for collection from the couriers office or depot. 

If for any reason you have damaged goods upon arrival, to be able to be refunded for the couriers mistake please email us photos as soon as you can of the damage so we can make a claim to the courier company. Please do not send it back to us, as time is the most valuable commodity in this instance to ensure a refund. 
If you are local, and would prefer to pick up your order from our Auckland store, then please
press the free shipping service 'PICKUP' at the checkout. If you pay directly at the check out, we will hold these items until we hear from you. If you were planning on paying upon arrival, but do not make further contact, we hold these for no more than two weeks and cancel the order.
 
I N T E R N A T I O N A L   S H I P P I N G
We now have tracked and untracked options for international customers. We do recommend you use the tracked courier service for ease-of-mind, but cheap shipping is always nice too.

If the item has been returned to sender by fault of The Bread and Butter Letter, then we will take responsibility by either re-sending it, or refunding the item and shipping at our expense. If the item gets lost in the mail, or is returned, at no fault of The Bread and Butter Letter, the store cannot be held responsible for refunding the item. We are happy to re-send the item, but at the customers expense.

Any taxes, duty or other fees incurred on arrival of an international order will be the responsibility of the customer.
